The Cambium cnVision Hub FLEXr is a high-performance, connectorized wireless hub designed specifically for video surveillance and CCTV network deployments.
As part of Cambium’s cnVision platform, the Hub FLEXr serves as a central base station that connects multiple remote client devices (such as MAXr, MINI, and MICRO units), enabling reliable wireless transport of high-definition video streams across long distances.
The FLEXr is built with a connectorized design, allowing it to work with a wide range of external antennas including omni-directional, sector (90°/120°), and horn antennas. This flexibility enables network designers to customize coverage patterns and optimize performance based on deployment needs.
With support for distances up to approximately 5 miles (8 km) depending on antenna configuration, the Hub FLEXr is ideal for city surveillance, industrial monitoring, campus security, and smart infrastructure projects.
The device delivers up to 600 Mbps throughput and supports GPS synchronization, enabling frequency reuse and improved performance in congested RF environments.
It also features seamless integration with Video Management Systems (VMS) and ONVIF-compatible cameras, allowing automatic device detection, real-time video preview, and simplified troubleshooting across surveillance networks.
Built with an IP67-rated rugged enclosure, the Hub FLEXr is engineered for reliable operation in harsh outdoor conditions including rain, dust, and extreme temperatures.
