The Cambium cnWave V5000 Distribution Node is a high-capacity 60GHz wireless access point designed to serve as the central distribution hub in a cnWave fixed wireless network. Engineered for service providers, enterprises, and large-scale deployments, the V5000 delivers multi-gigabit connectivity with fiber-like performance—without the need for physical cabling.
Operating in the 60GHz millimeter-wave spectrum, the V5000 provides ultra-fast, low-latency communication ideal for dense urban, campus, and industrial environments. It features dual-sector coverage of up to 280 degrees with advanced beamforming technology, allowing a single node to connect multiple client devices efficiently.
The V5000 supports point-to-multipoint (PMP), point-to-point (PTP), and mesh network configurations, making it highly flexible for different deployment scenarios. A single unit can connect up to 30 client nodes or multiple distribution nodes, enabling scalable and high-density network expansion.
With support for channel bonding and advanced modulation schemes, the V5000 delivers multi-gigabit throughput and ultra-low latency performance (<1 ms), ensuring reliable connectivity for bandwidth-intensive applications such as ISP distribution, CCTV backhaul, enterprise networking, and smart city infrastructure.
Integrated with Cambium’s cnMaestro management platform, the V5000 allows centralized monitoring, configuration, and optimization of the entire network for maximum efficiency and uptime.
