The Cambium ePMP 4500C is a next-generation 5GHz WiFi 6 (802.11ax) fixed wireless access point designed for high-capacity point-to-multipoint (PtMP) broadband deployments.
Built with 8×8 MU-MIMO technology, the ePMP 4500C delivers significantly higher spectral efficiency, improved interference management, and greater subscriber density compared to previous ePMP generations. It is engineered for modern WISP, ISP, and enterprise networks requiring ultra-reliable and scalable wireless infrastructure.
This is a connectorized model, allowing operators to pair the access point with external sector, horn, or customized antennas. This flexibility enables optimized coverage design based on deployment requirements such as wide-area coverage or high-capacity sectors.
Operating in the 5 GHz band, the ePMP 4500C leverages WiFi 6 enhancements such as OFDMA and advanced modulation schemes to improve throughput, latency, and overall network efficiency in dense environments.
The device is designed for high-capacity broadband delivery, supporting large numbers of subscriber modules while maintaining stable performance even in congested RF conditions. It also supports GPS synchronization, enabling frequency reuse and improved multi-sector deployment performance.
The ePMP 4500C integrates seamlessly with Cambium’s cnMaestro cloud platform, providing centralized management, real-time monitoring, zero-touch provisioning, and advanced analytics for scalable network operations.
With enterprise-grade reliability and advanced interference mitigation, the ePMP 4500C is ideal for operators upgrading from legacy ePMP 3000-series deployments to next-generation WiFi 6 infrastructure.
