The Cambium cnPilot XE3-4TN is a high-performance enterprise-grade WiFi 6E (802.11ax) software-defined outdoor access point designed for demanding carrier, ISP, campus, and large-scale outdoor wireless deployments.
This rugged outdoor AP features a tri-radio architecture supporting 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz WiFi 6E bands, delivering ultra-high capacity, low latency, and expanded spectrum efficiency. It is ideal for high-density environments such as stadiums, campuses, smart cities, industrial sites, resorts, and public WiFi networks.
The XE3-4TN uses a software-defined radio (SDR) architecture, allowing flexible configuration of radio modes depending on network demand, including dynamic adjustment between dual-band and tri-band operation. This ensures future-proof scalability as WiFi 6E adoption grows.
It is a connectorized outdoor AP, meaning it supports external antennas (including omni and sector antennas), allowing network designers to customize coverage patterns for specific deployment requirements.
Built with an IP67-rated rugged enclosure, the device is engineered to withstand harsh outdoor environments including rain, dust, heat, and extreme conditions, making it suitable for mission-critical deployments.
The AP integrates seamlessly with Cambium’s cnMaestro cloud management platform, enabling centralized provisioning, monitoring, analytics, and troubleshooting across distributed networks. It also supports zero-touch provisioning for rapid deployment at scale.
With enterprise-grade security and performance features such as WPA3, 802.1X authentication, VLAN segmentation, captive portal, fast roaming, and QoS control, the XE3-4TN ensures secure and optimized wireless experiences.
